Panic! At The Disco
Viva Las Vengeance Tour
2022
“The visual displays for the concert were equally impressive.”
Utah Concert Review
Panic! At The Disco launched their album Viva Las Vengeance with a vengeance of a tour in September 2022. The Playground was tasked with creating a show in three acts. The first act was aptly named “The Hits,” full of bangers such as “Say Amen (Saturday Night),” “Hey Look Ma,” “Emperor’s New Clothes,” and several others.
The Playground created six songs of production scripting including pyrotechnics, automation, lasers and a plethora of colors to start out the night. Act Two plunged the band and audience into a rabbit hole of 70’s nostalgia. The band played the entirety of the Viva Las Vengeance album in order, submerged in a set that would make Bob Barker and Johnny Carson swoon for their OG TV hosting days.

How we got there
All lighting, pyro, video content and production scripting adhered to specific colors and film effects to maintain the 70’s, vintage feel. Act Three, aptly named “The Hits Keep Coming,” continued to bash the audience into submission with more hits starting with a rainbow waterfall for “Girls, Girls, Boys.” The production continued its pyrotechnics, automation, and laser display through the rest of the evening, culminating in the finale song “High Hopes.”
