A Day To Remember
Least Anticipated Tour
2024
"The band masterfully used the production in the set to convey the power behind those breakdowns, using blasts of pyrotechnics to make the songs feel even bigger."
Riff Magazine
A Day to Remember delivers an unforgettable performance with an ability to connect with their audience. They are one of the most dynamic and exciting live bands today and require dynamic production to live up to their energy. The Playground collaborated with Alex Mungal of Alien Lites to create a lighting and set design with multiple backdrops that changed the stage throughout the night. Confetti, fire, special effects, characters in costume, balloons and the multiple changing backdrops created moments in every other song throughout the energetic set list.

How we got there
The members of A Day To Remember came to The Playground via veteran tour manager Andrew Weiss to deliver an action packed production, matching the energy and pacing of their high paced show. The team collaborated by creating multiple designs for the band to choose from. Once decided, the team worked in an extremely tight timeline - approximately two weeks - to create and execute the design.
The result was a show that was ever morphing. As the show progressed, various special effects lighting elements, and backdrops were revealed. The lighting programming of Alex Mungal added incredible dynamic to match the high intensity of A Day to Remember's music.
“As anticipation reached its peak, A Day to Remember exploded onto the stage amid a flurry of confetti bombs and a dazzling light show.”
